fall is pushing out summer

I am home in San Jose.

While San Diego North County might be my first choice,why not cherish Santa Clara County where fall is sneakin in with cool breezes, a few crunchy leaves and about 10 yellowgreenish (emphases on the yellow) leaves.

A list of good reasons to be up here:

1. fall (leaves, swirling leaves, red leaves, crunchy leaves, orange leaves, piles of leaves, raking, and most of all yellow gingo leaves that cover everything on my street)
2. friends (though they are sparse) that I would not other wise see
3. Mom y Dad
4. i can visit my Dad's third grade hoodrats
5. goofhead one
6. goofhead two
7. free pumpkin spice lattes (or ice green teas if the fall breezes are no where to be found)
8. there is a marvelous supply of garage sales
9. i live in a beautiful neighborhood with old people who have been hoarding stuff for years only to be released in estate sales...should i not say that?
10. SF adventures are only a short drive/train ride away
